分享｜《好餓的毛毛蟲》舊衣改造⠀

深夜裡來說個愛地球小故事，大家有沒有看過《爺爺一定有辦法》（Something from Nothing）這本書呢？這是一本上市快 30 年的老繪本了，但故事非常可愛唷！小男孩約瑟從誕生時就開始用的毯子，早已變得又破又舊，卻捨不得丟棄，於是擁有一雙巧手的爺爺，將它改造成外套，然後又變成背心，再變成領帶......。有趣的是，畫面的下方，同時進行著小老鼠一家的故事，牠們撿起剩布的邊邊角角，做出了窗簾、桌布和衣服。兩個家庭，不約而同地在生活裡，為舊物找出新價值。

幾年前，我在西門町的 Design Tshirts Store graniph 買了一件白色的二重紗襯衫，胸口上繡著經典的好餓的毛毛蟲圖案，因為太喜歡了，一直珍藏著沒有穿，終於下定決心穿出門時，卻在第一次機洗後出現橘紅色的染漬，即使送洗多次也救不回來，實在欲哭無淚。染過色的全白衣服穿在身上有點彆扭，但好不容易買回的限量服飾也捨不得丟，想不到該怎麼辦才好，只好塵封在衣櫃的角落。

去年冬天，意外看到有間工作室正在接受舊衣改造的申請，便懷著期待的心情與主理人聯繫，在一來一往的信件討論中，毛毛蟲的新生命逐漸成形，芃諭將它結合其他材料製作成十二片三角旗，而且收費十分合理。

毛毛蟲搭著車，從花蓮寄回台北，收到實品太驚喜了！我將它掛在客廳的牆上，每天都能看到它，很高興它能以不同的方式留在身邊。相信大家身邊可能也有些心愛的布製品，如今卻不堪用了，不管是孩子小時候的衣服、磨損的包包、褪色的手帕或是破了洞的襪子，或許，你也有機會讓它們有新的生命。

「去服飾店買麥當勞？」，就只差購物袋沒有飄出誘人的薯條香了吧！最近為了紀念麥當勞上陸日本五十週年，Design Tshirts Store graniph推出系列聯名服飾。
不只有倒出薯條、橫線條紋吸管等可愛圖案，關西與關東還分別推出寫著「マクド」與「マック」，僅在彼此領域販售的T-shirt。（對，在日本麥當勞的稱呼神奇地出現關西版的嗎庫抖與關東版的嗎庫兩種。
最有趣的是，只要購買系列服飾就會送一個簡直以假亂真的麥當勞購物紙袋，買兩件還會再送一個巨大漢堡盒！😂
雖然我不常吃麥當勞，但是薯條與雞塊的萬惡組合陪我度過無數個解壓的夜晚。本來想買一件印有最早期的吉祥物「Speedee」的長版T洋裝，結果線上賣到缺貨，實體店面去了兩間都向隅，不死心又打了幾間詢問都說沒有，所以只好默默放棄。😭

Being Silly At Work
A few days ago, I set off to London to finish off a campaign I did for Youtube. It's been such an honour and I want to thank you all for keeping me updated with your snaps. On a more important topic, thanks to all of your support through your donations, shirt sales and palette purchases, we have enough to fully fund 2 schools for children of Ghana. This makes your girl incredibly happy and proud. I bet the children will be even more chuffed. Thank you x MILLION for your kindness and support. This would be impossible without your help.
